About

Reuben Bidez finds pleasure in reinventing himself. Open and evolving, he always finds a way to keep things fresh and exciting. His latest release Birdies takes a pop leaning stance as he unloads his built up thoughts and emotions from countless days spent in 2020's lockdown. "All my friends have lost their interest in me" was the line that stuck out the most. Feelings of loneliness and isolation brought this sentiment to the surface. Joining forces with Producer Jonathan Matteson (Maren Morris, Lennon Stella) brought a fresh approach to Reuben's pop (often folk leaning) sensibilities. Produced entirely in Bidez's home studio, Birdies takes a quarantine lyric and lays it over a Springtime rhythm. "It's hopeful, but also tongue-in-cheek, which is where I like to keep it."

Bidez has opened for accomplished artists like Butch Walker and Lera Lynn, collaborating with fellow Nashville songwriters Molly Parden and Carl Anderson, and shared the stage with Nashville heroes like Dave Rawlings Machine, Aaron Lee Tasjan, and Andrew Combs.

As a songwriter, he has penned songs with Million streamers like Nathan Angelo and young rising stars like Parker Chapin and Will Pellerin. "Every time I sit down with someone, my goal is to help them write the best song they've ever written."
